FINANCIAL AID
There are a variety of financial aid programs available to students who qualify. The most suitable financial
aid package for each applicant to Ridley-Lowell will be discussed at the personal interview upon enrollment. Brief
descriptions of the financial aid programs currently available are outlined below. Other financial aid and
consumer information, as well as applications, can be obtained from the school's financial aid office.
Students are not entitled to receive financial aid if they are currently in default on any loan made under the
Federal Direct Loan, Stafford Student Loan, Direct Loans, SLS, PLUS, or Perkins Loan program and/or owe a refund
on a grant received under Title IV programs at any postsecondary institution. Students are required to sign a
Default/Refund certification statement, verification of draft registration statement, drug policy statement, and a
request for a financial aid transcript from all previous institutions.
PELL
GRANTS
Pell Grant awards are federal aid available to students who have not received a Bachelor's Degree. Award
amounts are based upon federal income tax return information, non-taxable income, parent/student financial
resources, family size, and number of dependents in college. These amounts are received for each year (July 1
through June 30). Amounts received are grants for educational expenses and need not be repaid. Applications are
available from the financial aid office and must be filed by the appropriate deadline.
