There are a variety of financial aid programs in New York available to students who qualify. Each prospective student is encouraged to schedule a financial aid appointment to discuss the most suitable financial aid package that fits their need.
Our campuses all participate in the U.S. Department of Education Pell Grant and Stafford Loan programs outlined below.
To get started, you can fill out the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) online, or we can assist you with this application at your appointment. Once your application is processed, we will review the results and inform you about your grant and loan eligibility.

Pell Grants
A Federal Pell Grant, unlike a loan, does not have to be repaid. Pell Grants are available to those who qualify, and only to undergraduate students who have not earned a Bachelor's or a professional degree. Pell Grants are considered a foundation of federal financial aid to which aid from other federal and nonfederal sources might be added.
Stafford Loan Program
The U.S. Department of Education administers the William D. Ford Federal Direct Loan Program, which consists of what are generally known as Stafford loans for students and PLUS loans for parents. For up-to-date information on interest rates, loan fees and the various repayment options, please visit www.studentaid.ed.gov.
Our programs are approved for the training of veterans and other eligible persons by the Connecticut and New York Divisions of Veterans Affairs*. To determine or discuss your eligibility for these benefits as a veteran, or a spouse or dependent of a veteran, please contact the Veterans Administration by clicking the banner above to visit their web site. For general questions, you may also contact your school’s VA Certifying Official.
