Graduates

Our Career Services Department has a lifetime commitment to assisting you in your search for employment. We are happy to meet with you for an individual consultation to cover job-seeking techniques, review your resume, discuss job leads, and to perform mock interviews. So we will do anything possible to help you prepare for entering the world of job searching and to make you more confident when approaching possible employers.

As a graduate of Ridley-Lowell, you are entitled to lifetime placement assistance. We keep graduates resumes on file so that in the future, if your employment status changes or you gain new skills and experience, we can provide copies and even continue job searching for you at that time.

Our Career Center maintains an employment service for all graduates without additional charge, regardless of the year of graduation. It is understood that while employment assistance may be provided, the school cannot promise or guarantee employment to any graduate. Many students, however, do obtain employment before or immediately after graduation. Placement statistics of recent graduates are available for review in the main office and in the catalog addendum.

Ridley-Lowell will assist graduates in the job search process, which includes:

  • Making sure that your cover letter and resume present you professionally

  • Preparing you to answer questions on the interview

  • Provide you with job leads from local employers

  • Fax or send your resume to potential employers

  • Keep current on job prospects in your area.

  • Provide insight on employer’s expectations

“I have become a more confident person since attending Ridley-Lowell Business and Technical Institute. Going back to school is a dream that can secure your future no matter what age you are.”
