Dental Field, New London CT

Dental Assistant
Dentists need dental assistants to help them manage their day-to-day procedural and administrative duties. At Ridley-Lowell in New London, our 57-credit-hour program, which includes a dental externship opportunity, can teach you skills in anatomy, oral healthcare, dental administrative procedures, materials, radiography, and general and specialty procedures.

Upon graduation, you will be certified in BLS/AED CPR and can be ready to apply for the Radiation Health & Safety (RHS) and Infection Control (ICE) competency exams through the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB).

Massage Program, CT

Get the training you need to pursue a career in massage therapy with Ridley-Lowell. You can gain the practical, hands-on training you need to become a massage therapist, and you can complete the program in less than a year!

Our program covers anatomy and physiology, pathology, kinesiology, therapeutic massage, spa services, sports and medical massage, and legal and ethical issues related to massage therapy.

Upon completion of the program, you can be eligible to apply for your National Certification Exam for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork to become nationally certified. With a passing score on this exam, you can be eligible to apply for licensure as a massage therapist in the state of Connecticut.

As a licensed massage therapist, you can seek employment opportunities in a wide range of settings, including salons, spas, resorts, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, athletics departments, fitness centers and more.

Medical Administrative Assistant
The Medical Administrative Assistant diploma program prepares students for a medical office job, such as a medical records clerk, medical secretary, unit administrator or medical transcriptionist. Field-specific areas of training focus on professional standards, office procedures, HIPPA, law and ethics, therapeutic communications, patient records, and billing and collections.

In our Medical Billing and Coding Specialist program, you can gain a solid understanding of processing health insurance claims, coding of diagnoses and procedures/services, patient and hospital billing procedures, payer requirements, medical terminology, and state and federal requirements.
