TRANSFER
CREDIT
Transfer credit for courses may be accepted at the discretion of the Director for students who have
satisfactorily completed courses at another accredited postsecondary institution with a minimum grade of "C." The
course(s) must be substantially equivalent to those offered at Ridley-Lowell Business and Technical Institute. It
is the responsibility of the student to ensure that an official copy of the transcript which indicates the grade
for the course(s) be obtained, as well as a course description from the institution. Failure to supply this
material will result in the student's obligation to take the course(s). A
maximum of six courses not to exceed 360 clock hours may be transferred
at the discretion of the Director. Transfer credit will reflect a reduction in
hours and tuition to correspond with the credit given. The student may choose to replace a transfer course with
another course or courses in lieu of the tuition reduction. If a replacement course is chosen, the hours and grade
from that course may not be necessary for graduation. If a student transfers any courses to Ridley-Lowell, the
chosen program completion time will be adjusted to reflect the number of clock hours transferred.
