ADMISSIONS

Ridley-Lowell Business and Technical Institute seeks those students who have a genuine interest and a true desire to enter the fields of Medical Assisting, Accounting, Computer Applications, Criminal Justice, Information Processing, Administrative Support, Networking, PC Repair, and Medical or Legal Office. Interest and motivation will be important factors in determining the student's degree of success.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must be at least 17 years of age and have received their high school diploma or its equivalent. A formal application and a personal interview to evaluate the applicant's potential are required. Students may begin each quarter/term providing their chosen curriculum has sufficient enrollment. Anyone may start classes as late as one week following the date classes begin.

Potential students are encouraged to visit the school for a personal interview and a tour of the facilities 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday or 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday. For more information, please call and ask for the Admissions Office.

TRANSFER CREDIT

Transfer credit for courses may be accepted at the discretion of the Director for students who have satisfactorily completed courses at another accredited postsecondary institution with a minimum grade of "C." The course(s) must be substantially equivalent to those offered at Ridley-Lowell Business and Technical Institute. It is the responsibility of the student to ensure that an official copy of the transcript which indicates the grade for the course(s) be obtained, as well as a course description from the institution. Failure to supply this material will result in the student's obligation to take the course(s). A maximum of six courses not to exceed 360 clock hours may be transferred at the discretion of the Director. Transfer credit will reflect a reduction in hours and tuition to correspond with the credit given. The student may choose to replace a transfer course with another course or courses in lieu of the tuition reduction. If a replacement course is chosen, the hours and grade from that course may not be necessary for graduation. If a student transfers any courses to Ridley-Lowell, the chosen program completion time will be adjusted to reflect the number of clock hours transferred.

My experience here at Ridley-Lowell has been very rewarding educationally, socially, and hopefully financially. I would recommend anyone who wants to further their education to do it amongst the wonderful staff here at Ridley-Lowell.
